We both come from rambunctious Italian American Families so we are naturally drawn to one another. We love to garden, cook, pour the wine, eat and gather and debate and laugh and work. We met in 2012 serving at a restaurant and we have been friends ever since.

Amanda requested a lesson in “flavors” from me one day… And in true Amanda fashion, always seeing an opportunity to make money, “No no no wait you need to give cooking lessons!” she exclaimed. And so it began after decades of catering and restaurants, CLE, cook learn eat was born. In home cooking classes, using your own equipment. When we discovered people did NOT in fact want lessons at home they wanted to come to us; enter the transformation of the 1954 garage to the 2021 MillsRoadTestKitchen!

Amanda is definitely the spark that gets us lit up. She is always pushing us forward. Inquisitive and driven like no other. We both have difficulty slowing down sometimes. The Test Kitchen gives us that. A private getAway, a place to share our passion for hospitality with our delicious and casual style. 2023 we became street legal and here you are reading about us.
