
It all begins with an idea.
Amanda requested a lesson in “flavors” from me… And in true Amanda fashion, always seeing an opportunity to make money, “No no no wait you need to give cooking lessons1”. And so it began after decades of catering and restaurants CLE, cook learn eat was born. When we discovered people did NOT in fact want lessons at home they wanted to come to us; enter the transformation of the 1954 garage to the 2023 MillsRoadTestKitchen!
As classes turned into dinners and dinners into brunch, one night baked out of our gourds we came up with the COOKbookBOOKclub concept.
For a couple hours every now and then, come one and all. We eat and talk thru the pitfalls, hacks, challenges, time restraints, critiques, confusion and personal wins and losses surrounding the Joy of Cooking.
